In the year 2012 it was named the German Forest of the year, there where the close starting point welcomes our guests for larger or smaller hikes of varying difficulties. Not only the „Quadropole-Region“ (Trier, Luxembourg, Metz, Saarbrücken) offers many artefacts regarding history and architecture, less famous places in the area proudly present wittnesses of celtic, roman or frankonian origin, which shouldn‘t be ignored. If you like to dive into the rural atmosphere, visit the idyllic places along the rivers Moselle, Saar, Sauer or Kyll and taste the fruits of the regional markets, listen to concerts and go to exhibitions of local art.
