Starting at the church the path leads through the village and the "Montée des Aulnes" towards the "Bocksbierg" with its wonderful views to the valley of the rivers Mosel and Sauer. Passing the highway along a water reservoir with information about the painter Jean-Pierre Beckius (station of the Wine information path) you reach the entrance of the village Mertert, then return through a vineyard path back to Wasserbillig.

Please be aware that you have to walk along the road for 200m.
