Canoe Waterway

The Bourbon plateau got its name from the former Fort Bourbon and it had been included in the fortification for ages.

This cycle route offers nature, rivers and hills. A large part of the forest is protected by a conservation program. The objective is to create a nationwide network of integral forest reserves in order to preserve their natural habitat.

The rustic inn is located in the district of Hochmark and offers regional specialties in addition to a beautiful terrace with a playground for the little ones. In the separate room parties can be celebrated.  Other facilities: - Disabled toilet and changing facilities- Kids Bimmelbahn ( small train with a warning bell) We mostly source regional products and our dishes are often seasonal too. We also offer home-baked pies and cakes, which we make ourselves.
