Explore the gradual growth of the mediaeval castle over four separate construction phases between 1015 and 1650,reflected in the different architectural styles – Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance.

The loop trail starts at the town hall in Fusenich. From there you walk through the lovely town towards Trierweiler. The path leads up through a quiet residential area towards the motorway. Along the ridge, with a view over wide meadows, you reach the viewpoint "auf der First". Shortly after the ridge the way leads down to Gelbach. The way leads back to the starting point through an adventurous forest.

This moderate 8,3 km long tour offers wide meadows and forests beside the mountain ranges above the river Mosel.

On the basis of 24 themes the path describes the interaction of agriculture and nature conservation.

The 5,5 km long path “Friedbüsch” leads on large streets around the so-called “Friedbüsch”. It is possible to combine this tour with other walking paths in the near area. The profile is quit flat and for ambitious hikers. The tour can be used as an extension of the “Keltentour”.
