Nordic Walking Keltentour

This lovely nature trail consists of 23 information panels concerning different topics.

Past the lowest point of the country ( called Spatz), you walk underneath the railway bridge, arriving in Germany at our colourfull tourist information. You continue this hike along the Mosel river until you reach the main road and hike upwards across the vineyards to reach the lovely viewpoint ``op Kloop``. You carry on hiking downhill to Mesenich, along the river Sauer to Langsur and across the border bridge back to the starting point.

The cycle track connects all the picturesque villages of the Rosport-Mompach municipality with the city of Echternach.

The start and finish point is the "Igeler Säule". The Igel column is the largest Roman tomb north of the Alps and belongs to the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage. The information panel and the columnar garden invites you to explore and linger. A forest trail connects the villages of Igel and Trier-Zewen. Through the lively Zewen you walk past fruit and vegetable fields to the Mosel and back to the starting point.

Enjoy the view of a beautiful of a small chapel, amongst hundreds and thousands of vines.
