This trail leads you towards high points all around Irsch, Korlingen, Filsch and Tarforst.

The « Deutsche Bahn » is the German company for railway roads and train routes. In the year 2016 they transported approximately 4,4 billion people. The traffic is divided into 3 different sectors: DB Fremdenverkehr, DB Regio and DB Arriva.

As a part of the national RGTR the company, Voyages Emil Weber contributes to the transport of people. They connect Luxemburg city with the rest of the country and offer bus rides to the close regions of France and to Germany. In total the busses head for more than 52 different destinations either exclusively or in partnership with other companies.

The holiday apartment is located on the outskirts of Igel, quietly at the edge of the forest, bordering the city limits of Trier. Due to its favorable location, the apartment is an ideal starting point for trips by car, bike or on foot. Signposted hiking trails begin at the front door. If necessary, a hiking guide is available for tours around Igel, of course free of charge. The cycle paths along Moselle are about 1.5 km, Saar about 4 km and Sauer about 5 km. Tours for mountain bikers are also starting at the doorstep. The center to Trier is about 7 km, the borders of Luxemburg about 4.5 km and the city of Luxembourg about 30 km. Good bus and train connections to Trier and Luxembourg.

The Rheinisches Landesmuseum Trier is one of the most important archaeological museums of Roman antiquity in Europe.
