This nature conservation center ´a Wiewesch´ represents the starting point of this nature trail, within wihch visitors can experience the symbiosis of agriculture and nature conservation on the basis of interesting examples.

With the help of 24 stations, the different effects agriculture has on nature are explained, difficulties between ecology and economy exemplified and different projects concerning the promotion of sustainable agriculture presented.

On the one hand, during this path, special elements of nature, caused by agricultural activities, are explained to the visitor, on the the other hand a variety of pastoring projects are presented, which perfectly combine economic and ecologic features.

This path is about 7km long and begins at the nature conservation center leading through the nature reserve ´manternacher fiels´, passing Lellig across the ´lelliger Plateau´. If you proceed to walk along ´Osterbach´and ´Wuelbertsbach´, you eventually arrive at your stating point in Manternach.
