Igel


Igel is located on the left bank of the Moselle.
In the center of the village the famous"Igeler Säule" meets the eye. It was built in the 3rd century by a cloth merchant family. Since 1986, it has been listed on the UNESCO list "Heritage of the World".

FeWo Haus Waldesruh

The holiday apartment is located on the outskirts of Igel, quietly at the edge of the forest, bordering the city limits of Trier. Due to its favorable location, the apartment is an ideal starting point for trips by car, bike or on foot. Signposted hiking trails begin at the front door. If necessary, a hiking guide is available for tours around Igel, of course free of charge. The cycle paths along Moselle are about 1.5 km, Saar about 4 km and Sauer about 5 km. Tours for mountain bikers are also starting at the doorstep. The center to Trier is about 7 km, the borders of Luxemburg about 4.5 km and the city of Luxembourg about 30 km. Good bus and train connections to Trier and Luxembourg.
