The approx. 4.5 km long via ferrata (circular route) combines climbing passages on six selected rock sections that offer spectacular views of the town of Neuerburg.

This eventful path mostly leads through the nature reserve "Manternacher Fiels".

Probably built in the tenth century, the castle underwent important extensions including the erection of a fortification wall flanked by six towers during the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries.

Our guesthouse is situated in a cozy little village next to the beautiful Sauer valley with its easily accessible cycle lanes and numberous hiking trails.

The tour is very entertaining and great for a walk. The combination of the river and the hillside makes the appeal. A stop at the ``Gruthenhäuschen``, a reconstructed Roman tomb temple, reveals the Roman influence in the region.
