This trail leads through dense woods, beautiful vineyards and past lovely hillside slopes, all along the river Moselle.

Further downstream you will find yourself in the ancient city of Trier. Here the landscape changes: steeply sloping vineyards, world-famous villages such as Bernkastel-Kues, Traben-Trarbach, Zell (Mosel) and Cochem can be seen.
