Description

Enjoy great sights on the Sure valley and the lake of Echternach.


Leaving Rosport, you will cross Luxembourg's most eastern area.

At first, you will cycle leisurely through the green valley of the Sure, then drive up to a plateau with many orchards. Enjoy great sights on the Sure valley and the lake of Echternach.

After this more demanding stretch, you may feel like having a rest at the lake and bathe, in the summertime. After a visit to the abbey town of Echternach, the route returns to the starting point, following the course of the Sure once more.

Sights: Tudor museum in Rosport, hermit's chapel "Girsterklaus", Echternach (lake, gastronomy, culture)
